Shakespeare is no fun if you read him in the original. Even for a literature major like myself. As part of my 3rd year in college, I was obliged to take an advanced class on Shakespeare. It could have been less hard if the professor who taught it were fun and engaging. But it was not the case. He taught Shakespeare as if he was taking about a tragic event in the history of the world. When that professor asked use to do a comparative analysis of three Shakespearian plays, I knew at that time that I needed help.
